Marketing Strategy

Every Business Owner is a Content Marketer. (At Least, They Should Be.)

Everything your business does attracts and retains customers. Or fails to. As an owner, it’s your job to get and keep the business, but that’s the problem, isn’t it – just how do you do that exactly?

I believe that the best and most cost-effective means of promoting any business is through content. And, to that end, I offer small business owners and solo-entrepreneurs the means of acquiring and leveraging the most strategic types of written content: Case Studies, White Papers, Articles and Books.

You Don’t Have To Do This Alone. (And You Shouldn’t.)

Fortunately, marketing and promoting your brand with strategic content does not have to be a DIY project. Nor should it be. And, while you could probably do it all yourself, you’re smart enough to know that some things are better done by others.

Content Writing

Case Studies

Case studies, also known as “Customer Success Stories”, are powerful pieces of content that can be used in a variety of ways and formats. No one can tell the story of your business better than a happy customer or client. I can capture the value and impact of their stories and deliver it to you in a superbly written package.

Case studies are great tools for B2C marketing and promotion.

White Papers

A white paper is a persuasive document that uses facts and logic to promote your company’s product, service, or viewpoint. It’s not advertising and it’s not a case study. The format of a white paper is somewhere between a technical manual and a promotional brochure. Its purpose is to provide the depth and breadth of information about your product or service your buying audience needs to make a decision regarding your offering.

Primarily for B2B use, a well-written white paper can be presented in a variety of formats.

Articles

The power of a magazine article written by someone from your company is beyond measure. Whether it’s an informative article for a trade journal, an opinion piece from the CEO, or an epic blog article on your website, a well-written and persuasive piece can generate interest in your organization and drive traffic to your website.

Part of the beauty of articles is that any business can benefit from them.

Books

Marketing experts and others agree that having a published book puts you – and your business – light years ahead of your competition in the minds of your prospects. But even small, digital books designed to inform and inspire your audience can give your company a significant edge.

From short e-books to a 200-plus page business book, your brand will be powerfully enhanced by the impact that comes from having a book. And the best part is that you can have a book with your name on it without having to write it yourself!
